My Second Kinetic Typography Animation

AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is not a movie review or a post about movies. You've been warned.

Well, I know that this is supposed to be a movie blog but this somehow also becomes my place to share things and get noticed about the things I've done. LOL. It's not that I haven't watched any movies for the past week so I couldn't write anything (actually I watched two movies: "A Serious Man" and "Mr. Nobody"; I'm currently writing about the two), but I wanna spread that I FINALLY FINISHED MY SECOND KINETIC TYPOGRAPHY ANIMATION!

What is kinetic typography animation, btw? I cited Wikipedia about definition of kinetic typography: "...an animation technique mixing motion and text to express ideas using video animation." But briefly, just watch this video. That was a very good example of kinetic typography. Actually, there are many movies that use kinetic typography animation (or other kinds of vector animation) as, say, opening title scene or closing credit. One of the most popular movies with kinetic typography is "The Kite Runner" (see it here), or perhaps "Lucky Number Slevin" (I'm not sure; I can't find it on Youtube), or some parts of the opening title of "Quantum of Solace" (see it here).

I've been working on this animation since last February. But, due to my activities and laziness, I have just finished it a week ago and uploaded it this morning. I made a music clip of Westlife's "Uptown Girl" (remember that song?), which is actually 3 minutes long. I couldn't resist working for the full duration of the song (I mean, I am a beginner and I spent half a day working on eight-second animation ._.) so I cut the song just until 80 seconds. I made this animation because, well, this is one of the year's resolution (LOL) and  I was inspired with that Shop Vac animation. I just think that it musts be cool if I make one like that. So I browsed here-and-there, learnt by myself, and voila!

I hope you like it. Don't forget to hit "Like", and I always love to get commented. P.S.: My first kinetic typography is here, it's made before our graduation so... yeah, kinda lame. LOL.
